Meet Edith Sylla in the Dixie Trail parking lot at 9am to carpool to this year's HKonJ rally.
The rally begins at 9:30am at Shaw University and participants will walk through downtown to the legislature for rousing speeches. If you prefer not to walk, meet Cy King at the legislative building. You'll find him with a chair at the front of the legislative building before noon.
The annual HKonJ (Historic Thousands on Jones Street) rally draws together North Carolinians from all walks of life to bring attention to the needs of our citizens. An amazing coalition of advocates works together to set annual priorities and then to convince our state legislators to vote for justice and fairness for our people.
