Mark your calendar now for the CUCC Intergenerational Heifer International Event coming up this August.  Heifer International is a charity which works to end poverty and hunger around the world.  All ages will have fun together while we explore how we can participate in Heifer’s work.

August 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 we’ll meet at CUCC for dinner and fun as we learn about Heifer.  We’ll be focusing on how Heifer uses bees and chickens to help families in Nicaragua and other countries care for themselves and the earth.

August 15 we’ll continue our fun and learning at Marla Dorrell Park in Cary where we’ll picnic and play from 5:30-7:30.  The park is conveniently located just off US1 and has a misting garden and unique play structures for all ages and abilities.

Sunday, August 19 we’ll celebrate all we’ve learned at worship and Fellowship afterwards.

This event is sponsored by the Religious Education Ministry.  Questions?  Contact Suzette Roach at 919-637-4727 or suzette134@bellsouth.net.
