On October 27, the Monday Lunch Group celebrated the 90th birthday of Geraldine Bryan. (Her actual birthday was October 25). The program included chocolate cake (pre-arranged at the CUCC auction last spring) and ice cream, and lots of stories about Geraldine. Normally Monday Lunch Group ends about 1:45 PM, but at this party folks had to be pushed at the door about 2:10 because the merriment was not winding down. Guests included Arnold and Peggy Hoffman's daughter Rosemary, and Judy Smallwood and Sally Cook who live at Carol Woods in Chapel Hill.
