Rev. Dr. Sadler advocates for a “Cleaner, Greener, Better” world. We will create a Cleaner earth with decreased climate change when we move from a fossilfuelbased to a Greener, renewablesbased energy system. He argues that in a new, Better economy, the resulting massive infrastructure reengineering and job creation can provide meaningful work for currently underemployed men and women.

The same themes are intertwined in Community UCC’s work on climate change. The JCC was created in 2007 to work to decrease climate change and its impact on people with fewer resources, both local and international. We recognized that the climate is changing, largely as the result of our fossil fuel use. The changes resulting from this warmer earth will be a disaster for everyone, but their biggest negative impact will be on those people with the fewest financial resources. Over the last 10 years, we have been learning about and working to decrease climate
change. On the way, we have focused on decreasing its impact on those with few resources and sharing the journey with others in the community.
