Answering fools? - Life & Faith March 5

As always, this is a fluid group - just drop in!  We meet on 1st Tuesdays.

March 5 topic - Thank you to Abby England for providing our scripture to chew on for March Life and Faith:  Proverbs 26:4-5  Here’s the NIV version of those verses.

4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly,
or you yourself will be just like him.
5 Answer a fool according to his folly,
or he will be wise in his own eyes.

Abby suggests we use these verses as a starter to the questions: “Who is the fool?  How should we respond to foolishness?”

March location:  Wilson's Eatery  1053 E. Whitaker Mill Road, Raleigh (directions)

What is Life and Faith?  How is your faith connecting to your life these days?  This ever-changing group of CUCCers and friends gathers to bounce ideas, support and challenge each other, and enjoy good company.  Questions for discussion arise from the group as each of us tries to figure out how to put into practice what we believe.  Discussion often touches on how to love in specific circumstances, and how to be a presence of justice.  We talk about family, work, community.  We don’t always agree; we do laugh together. If no one has a question that night, Jane Smith brings a back up question to start the discussion.

New folks and friends are always welcome.  Come when you can, or come often.  Look for the comma in the vase on our table.

What is said at Life & Faith stays at Life & Faith!  We seek to be a safe place for one another.

Discussion starts at 7PM, so arrive by 6:30 if you want to order food.  We try to model God's generosity by tipping well, whether we order water or a full meal.  The discussion wraps up at 8PM.
