Order your tickets for "Gen Silent" April 1

Join others from CUCC in viewing "Gen Silent" at the Galaxy Cinema on Friday, April 1.  The documentary tracks six LGBT seniors as they negotiate the health care system. A must-see for those passionate about eldercare and human rights.  A discussion with the documentarian will follow the showing.  We'll carpool from CUCC - contact Mary Pruneau if you are interested.
Order your tickets.
Not free on Friday night?  The movie will also be screened Saturday, April 2, at UNC-CH.

Register now - ImaginACTion

Registration is now open for the UCC Coalition for LGBT Concerns conference, ImaginACTion, June 27 to 30, Tampa, FL.  A group from CUCC plans to attend the conference and is considering renting a van to drive together.  Early bird registration is $109.00 and there are discounted rates available for the hotel and a meal plan.  Talk to Joan McAllister if you are interested; some scholarship money is available toward the registration costs.

Our own Joan McA is part of the planning team for this year's conference.  You probably heard about last year's San Diego conference from Skip, Steve and Joan who came back transformed and inspired.

Need a night of laughter and friendship?  Come to the CUCC Game Night, Saturday, Feb. 26, 7-9pm*.

*If 9pm is past your bedtime, play until you are tired and then head home with a smile.

A cup of cool water to refresh you for your creation care work

Our next Earth Sabbath Celebration will be held on Feb. 22 at 7pm at Community UCC in the Fellowship Hall. The theme will be focused upon the element of WATER - another precious gift of God that creats and sustains life. It is a miraculous substance, all to often taken for granted in our affluent society. Let's come together to celebrate it's life giving qualities!
