As a part of this ongoing discussion of our money and our values, Bill Lamb will be hosting a discussion at noon on June 10th regarding Medicare and Social Security: Understanding What is at Stake. This will be an AARP branded listening session which is part of the "You've Earned a Say" campaign intended to educate the people about the facts surrounding Medicare and Social Security and engage the public in a dialogue about what should be done to address these programs in the future. Both Medicare and Social Security were on the table in the last deficit debate and will likely be again this fall. Don't let politicians decide the future of these programs without your voice. The issues involved with Medicare and Social Security are not just for older people. Anyone paying into these systems has a stake in what will be happening. That includes just about all Americans. This will be the first in a three part series which will play out over this next year. The first session is focused on learning the facts about the programs.
