March 2: InterAct is a private, non-profit, United Way agency that provides safety, support, and awareness to victims and survivors of domestic violence and rape/sexual assault. InterAct fulfills this mission through the support of its volunteers and community. Tara Romano from Interact will speak at Forum to discuss the agency's mission, work and how members of the community can help them grow.
March 9: Inequality for All (Part 1). Documentary about income inequality in the U.S which is at historic highs. American economist and former U.S. Secretary of Labor, Robert Reich explains the issues through compelling visuals and commentary.
March 16: Part 2 of the documentary, Inequality for All.
March 23: "Reducing Income Inequality". How can we reduce inequality of income in our country? A panel of CUCC members will discuss what we can do to bring about more economic justice. People make the rules that create our economy and people can change the rules to make our economy more just. Join a discussion about which rules we should change.
March 30: "Southern Workers' Assembly". There is an upsurge of new energy in the South. The Southern Workers' Assembly is helping people to organize, unite and transform labor power and to seek fairness and dignity in the workplace. A representative from the Assembly will share information about their work.
