With sadness we announce the passing of CUCC friend Leo Klohr on May 24. Leo was an advocate for peace and justice whose warm smile and intellectual curiosity were intertwined with deep faith. Through his commitment to respectful dialog, educating for peace, and showing up at countless vigils and rallies, Leo helped a broad network of people find ways to take action for peace and justice. Leo and his wife Judy Occhetti-Klohr were recipients of CUCC's
2015 Carolyn and Cy King Peace and Justice Award.
Judy invites us to join her at a celebration of his life on Saturday, June 18, at 1PM at
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Anyone who would like to send Judy a note can get their address from Jane Smith.
