Dear CUCC Community,
The flags are flying!
I am looking forward to celebrating with you this week during our annual Welcoming Sunday gathering! We invite you to join us for an abbreviated worship service at 10:30 when we will celebrate God's extravagant welcome extended to ALL in radical love. We will sing, bless and pray together remembering who and whose we are as a faith-family community.
Following our worship, the festivities will continue into our courtyard and fellowship hall where the smells of slow-cooked ribs, fresh ripe vegetables, and the sweet aroma of good food and good folk will invite us to taste and see... that all good things come from above. You are invited to bring a potluck side dish to share in the abundance; NO NUTS Please!
There will be games and play for children of all ages, and live music in the courtyard. Bring a friend who may appreciate getting to know us in an informal, CUCC way!
As we begin a new year of ministry together, I am reminded of the gifts that abound in our community. This summer our staff has been working hard to prepare for the year ahead, and our ministries are excited to engage you in this new season of loving, living and experiencing the radical love of God together at Community UCC.
May the steadfast love of God be present for you this day and every day.
