Winter Solstice Poetry Night - December 21

Have you ever honored, celebrated, or made note of the Winter Solstice, the longest night? Waiting in the dark can feel difficult and yet it can also be a time of deep blessing. Some treasures can only be found in the season of Yuletide. Let’s wait in the dark together, sharing poetry, scripture, and story.

You are invited to find a favorite reading about darkness, turn off your lights, light a candle, and join us on Zoom from 5-6PM on Monday, December 21.

A link to our meeting will be in your Saturday Zoom email that week and in another email that day.

In the bleak mid-winter
Frosty wind made moan,
Earth stood hard as iron,
Water like a stone;
Snow had fallen, snow on snow,
Snow on snow,
In the bleak mid-winter
Long ago.
-Christina Rossetti
