The Adult Bible Study will be listening to recordings of Marcus Borg and Barbara Brown Taylor over the next six weeks leading up to Lent.
Borg's topic is "Beyond Literalism: the Bible and the Church Today, Biblical Language about God, and Biblical Language about Jesus."
Taylor's talks address "Reclaiming the Language of Faith;" she focuses on the words faith, sin, repentance, judgment, and salvation.
These talks, recorded in January 2007, are remarkably fresh and still pertinent in 2018.
