Spring Auction - April 21, 6:30-9:30pm, Vaughan Fellowship Hall
A tour of your apiary? Some hand wrought furniture from your woodworking shop or clothing hot off the end of your knitting needles? A delectable lunch for 6 made by you from vegetables from your garden?
Yes, you could offer any of those lovingly created items or events for CUCC’s Better Than Average Auction. And to be sure, you will find many such wonders available at our silent and live auction event. After all, we are a creative and loving community who shares generously of our time and talent, especially when so many others will benefit. You should also rest assured, however, that for those of us whose gifts seem less, um, obvious — there is much you can do to make this year’s auction a smashing success!
Being sure to attend with an eye for fellowship and some fun shopping is the most enjoyable way to help out. Hope you already have April 21 from 6:30-9:30 on your calendar! The next step would be to come up with your creative offering for the auction bounty. Not a woodworker? Offer some yard work! Not a beekeeper? Offer to dog walk! Not a fabulous gardener or cook? Offer an evening of board games at your place on a winter
