My heart is overflowing with gratitude this evening as I reflect on our lovely time together after
worship Sunday! Thanks to everyone on “team smorgasbord” and to everyone who took time to
share in the meal. It was quite a spread of holiday dishes from our moms, our travels and our
imaginations. Thanks, thanks, thanks for all the love that was offered up! Lots of folks stepped
up and acted just like family to make the day go very smoothly in large and small ways.
Special shout outs to the following:
Carol Clark, who is on every detail and the last one out the door
Julie Robertson, for her diligence and care
Susan Hasbrouck, whose sweet grace always lasts the full day
Jane Smith, whose wizardry must come from a deep well - I simply don’t know how she does it
Beth Allison-Moon, who jumped right in the mix to amp up our conversations on gratitude!
Tim Holton, who put himself square in front of that sink - Woot Woot!
Tim Jensen, who also did the heck out of those dishes!
Jeff and Paul, for working the stoves and whipping up enough gravy for Carol AND the rest of us :)
Bill Lamb - that was some moist and deeelicious turkey (and he made it to Bible study and church!)
Anne Moorman-Smith and Monty Smith, for going the extra mile at the end of a long day
