Duke Energy has notified CUCC that five trees that could damage transmission lines must be removed from the church’s property. The trees scheduled for removal are marked with red ribbons. Property Ministry co-chairs met with Duke Energy and learned that they have legal right to remove the trees. Duke Energy will repair any damage to the lawn caused by their equipment, cut the trees as close to the ground as possible, and provide mulch to cover the tree stumps free of charge.
