Raleigh City of Oaks Marathon & UNC Rex Healthcare Half Marathon
Greetings Raleigh Church, Government and Civic Community,
The 11th Anniversary Raleigh City of Oaks Marathon takes place on Sunday, November 5th, 2017 at 7:00 AM. Our race starts on Hillsborough Street at the NC State Bell Tower and goes through the Downtown area before heading out to Cameron Village, Meredith College, then onto the Greenway to North Raleigh.
In 2016, we modified the Downtown portion of our race course in order to minimize disruption to Sunday morning worship services. As a result the race should clear the Downtown area by 8:30 AM. Streets are re-opened by the Raleigh Police Department on a rolling basis as the last runners pass.
