The September meeting will be at Oak City Cares, a hub that connects people experiencing homelessness with a wide range of services. Your Wake County and City of Raleigh taxes help fund this one-stop shopping service center.
Congregations for Social Justice also has an Affordable Housing task force that meets monthly at 6 p.m. at the Robertson Hill Community Room, 1725 Poole Road. The next task force meeting is scheduled for September 10.
Congregations for Social Justice is a coalition of faith communities committed to advocating for public policies that create a better Raleigh for all people. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month (except in July and August) and rotate among local churches.
