On June 22, an energetic and motivated group of Boy Scouts, Scout leaders and parents assembled at CUCC to tackle an ambitious project.
Eighteen years ago, Eagle Scout candidate Matt Moorman, Anne Moorman-Smith‘s son, installed a split rail fence along the southern property line. After almost two decades of service, the fence needed replaced.
Eagle Scout candidate Sam Sorice and his team removed the old fence, took down a dead dogwood tree, dug up armfuls of brush, poison ivy and weeds, and installed a new fence. Please check it out the next time you’re at church. It certainly makes that side of our property attractive and welcoming!
