Even though our buildings and grounds are closed to group activities, the Property Ministry has continued its work. After many years of planning, the wood outside both narthex entrances, as well as all five sets of narthex doors (two exterior and three interior) have been professionally ārefreshedā to save the exterior wood and return the interior wood to its original luster. The ābeforeā and āafterā photos donāt begin to do the work justice!
In addition to that large project, several items on the āto doā list have been checked off over the past month. Volunteers are still needed (the weeds havenāt gotten the āstay at homeā order), so please contact Merrilee Jacobson (919-274-4539 / mkjacobson123@gmail.com) if youād like to take on one of the remaining projects. Individuals as well as āquarantine partnersā are welcome. When weāre finally able to gather again at CUCC, weāll be looking great!

Ā· Touch up paint on ceiling of VFH along window wall (parking lot side)
Ā· Paint childrenās restroom (bottom half of room only) to keep an eye on peeling paint problem
Ā· Paint one wall of Project Room to keep an eye on peeling paint problem
Ā· Pick up limbs and pine cones
Ā· Weeding
Ā· Wipe out ovens or set to āself-cleanā
Ā· Fix broken concrete at top of stairs leading to Wade Ave.
Ā· Install insulated door in back of Pilgrim House (conference room area)
Ā· Patch cracks in PH āliving/diningā rooms and paint walls
Ā· Fill gap at top of dishwasher in kitchen
