While you were out . . .

Even though our buildings and grounds are closed to group activities, the Property Ministry has continued its work.  After many years of planning, the wood outside both narthex entrances, as well as all five sets of narthex doors (two exterior and three interior) have been professionally “refreshed” to save the exterior wood and return the interior wood to its original luster.  The “before” and “after” photos don’t begin to do the work justice!

In addition to that large project, several items on the “to do” list have been checked off over the past month.  Volunteers are still needed (the weeds haven’t gotten the “stay at home” order), so please contact Merrilee Jacobson (919-274-4539 / mkjacobson123@gmail.com) if you’d like to take on one of the remaining projects.  Individuals as well as “quarantine partners” are welcome.  When we’re finally able to gather again at CUCC, we’ll be looking great!
