Lovely Camp-Out!
Thank you to all who made our annual Umstead Park Church-Wide Outdoor Event and Camp-Out such a lovely time!
Justice in a Changing Climate, Religious Education, and other awesome church
members helped us have fun and "walk lightly on the earth."
We shared down-time, enjoyed beautiful weather, relaxed conversation, campfire, music, song, and story, and amazing food. We made binoculars out of toilet paper rolls and went on a birding expedition. We planted seeds in recycled plastic bottles, and we shared many new ideas for reducing our carbon footprint and walking lightly on the earth.
