Festive Fellowship Today Celebrating Marty and Bill Lamb
William Edward Lamb and Martha Willois Andrus were wed on July 26th, 1969, in Davis Chapel at Wake Forest University by Dean Robert Dyer. Since that time, they have had many life adventures, living in Winston-Salem, Chapel Hill, Fayetteville, and Raleigh, N.C. where they hope to live the rest of their lives. They have also traveled to many states and a few other countries in their explorations. Bill and Marty have been members of CUCC since the early 1980's and reared their son Bert here.
Now celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, the Lambs feel it is time to celebrate and hope you will help them to do so after church today. Their son Bert, with his wife Ashley and two sons Simon and Spencer, are present for the celebration from Exeter, New Hampshire. Flying in for the celebration from Ely, Minnesota, is Bill's cousin, Dianne Thunhorst. Also, expected in attendance is one of the bridesmaids from their 1969 wedding, Linda Patton Stoddard, driving in with her husband Ron from Atlanta, Georgia. The Lambs thank their community here locally at CUCC and many others for their support and memory making together through the years.
