Did you know that an AA group has resumed meeting outside at CUCC? They have discovered the welcoming space that the youth created under the Pilgrim House deck. This space provides them with shelter from the elements for their early morning gatherings. They are following our distancing and mask requests.
The ministry of space is one of our ministries that we don't think about much. By offering the hospitality of a place to meet, CUCC provides community groups a resource they need to do their work. For people who attend groups like AA, especially people new or returning to recovery, a meeting can save their life.A participant sent CUCC members this message: "CUCC is making a difference in the Lives of Others. We are Grateful."
