At 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15th, Zoom in to hear “God of the Movements and Martyrs." This hymn was commissioned to commemorate the NC Council of Churches’ 85th anniversary and is to be performed in various settings from folk and bluegrass to choir, organ, and even orchestra. Following the 5:00 program, our group will gather on Zoom at 5:30-6:15 to discuss the different versions of the hymn and possible use in our church.
The watch party uses two Zooms - at 5PM to join people from across North Carolina for the premiere performance of the hymn, then at 5:30PM to join CUCCers as we celebrate and to talk about it together.
