Jennifer Fawcett works for Extension Forestry at NC State University, and Ryan Fawcett works for GoDaddy. Together they enjoy camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities, as well as tending to their beehives. They have two wonderful dogs and are expecting their first human baby in November. They have been attending CUCC since early 2019, and have enjoyed getting to know many members of the congregation.
Chelsea Huber is the Choral Director at Lucas Middle School in Durham. In addition to teaching, she performs with the North Carolina Opera Chorus and is the assistant music director for the Durham Savoyards. She’s been the Youth Choir Director at CUCC since 2018, and since then has loved getting to know the church’s youth and congregation through music.
Pastor Lacey Brown- was called by unanimous vote on Sunday, February 9 to be our full-time senior pastor. Her first Sunday with us was May 10. Lacey grew up in Ft Myers, Florida. She attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL. She has a BA in philosophy and religion and an MDiv from Columbia Theological Seminary. Lacey lives with her partner, Jordyne Krumroy, and their dog Rocky.
